Scan of Cyclife UK facility

We’re continuing to digitize the Cyclife facilities.

After scanning the Cyclife Sweden facility and setting up a showroom dedicated to visitors, it’s now the turn of the Cyclife UK facility!

The point of digitizing our facilities is to have a digital twin of our installations. Prior to the scan campaign, the use cases of the future digital assets are discussed and defined with all stakeholders, in order to define the expected level of detail, the specifications to be met, the LOD (Level Of Detail) of the 3D model, etc.

There are many possible use cases: operations and maintenance engineering, training, VR learning, revamping, communication, etc. For example, the Cyclife Sweden facility, following a scanning campaign, was able to set up a showroom dedicated to visitors. Inside this showroom, a kiosk with a touch screen using MySurvey and a VR virtual reality headset using ViSu were installed, offering visitors an immersive experience via a virtual tour of the facilities.

The creation of specific training courses using these technologies is underway, in order to train new operators while eliminating the risks associated with their profession.

We’re proud to contribute to this exciting digitalization project, and hope to be able to offer our support to the Cyclife France factory in the near future.
