INSIDE deployment at Cruas

We are now in the final stages of our France tour of ViSu deployment (VR solutions) in EDF power plants and engineering centers, as part of the INSIDE project run by EDF DIPDE.

This week, we had the chance to deploy at Cruas. The Cruas-Meysse nuclear power plant, commissioned in 1985, has 4 900 MWe pressurized water reactors and, above all, 4 impressive cooling towers.

We can now count 16 deployed sites among the 18 French nuclear power plants in operation!

As always, we had some very interesting discussions. It’s always a pleasure to see that our ViSu virtual reality solution meets the needs of the people working on-site:

• Virtual visits (as a complement to real visits),
• Collaborative model reviews between sites and engineering centers,
• Knowledge transfer via a Learning module,
• Training scenarios.
