Nov@action challenge 2024

We were delighted (and proud) to be awarded an innovation trophy again this year for our SismoCheck project.

Guillaume and Mélodie received the award at the Nov@ction event organised by the EDF Group.
NOV’@ction is an innovation acceleration initiative that gives EDF DP2D and Cyclife employees the means to develop and deploy their most promising innovations.

Sismocheck is a seismic shock simulator used to check seismic calculation notes relating to new radiological protections for heat exchangers. It uses 3D rendering engine technologies to model interactive environments and simulate realistic behaviour:

• Immersive environment where 3D models interact in real time;
• Instant collision detection to simulate interactions between objects;
• Intuitive, ergonomic interface that makes it easy for users to navigate and get to grips with.
