NIA meeting in Cardiff
Yesterday we were pleased to be invited to take part in the Decommissioning & Waste Management Business Group meeting organized in Cardiff (South Glamorgan, UK) by the Nuclear Industry Association (NIA), a key player in promoting nuclear power to achieve UK Net Zero. A day rich in presentations and exchanges on the role of innovation in the nuclear sector, to meet the challenges of decommissioning and waste management.
It was in this context that we had the opportunity to share our expertise through a presentation on Digital Twin. François-Xavier EECKMAN presented how EDF uses our MySurvey software for its decommissioning projects, from data collection to the creation of detailed 3D BIM models and virtual tours, not to mention the fact that these digital twins are also kept up to date and used for a wide range of applications.
At Cyclife Digital Solutions, we develop technologies that not only make it possible to model and simulate industrial facilities, but also facilitate decommissioning and risk management processes, while reducing costs and improving operational safety.
This event, which brought together around a hundred people, was an opportunity to create synergies between industry players, share common visions and develop our network with passionate experts. These synergies are at the heart of our approach to offering solutions tailored to the current needs of the nuclear industry, and contributing to the sector’s excellence.
